Professional training program for directors and workers at activity centres.
The objective of this training is to give the employees professional experience in psychosocial and socio-educational animation. Training will be via formal training and practice.
At the end of the training directors of centres will be able to:
• Propose and implement educational projects in the psychosocial area.
• Maintain and manage a team and structure activities of the centers
• Develop a partnership.
• Network.
• Ensuring the sustainability of the centre’s structure
Activity centre workers will be able to implement the knowledge, gained through training, to conduct a psychological intervention based on a specific audience.
Pedagogy training.
Active pedagogy will require the continued involvement of participants in:
Interventions and theoretical techniques, practical exercises, simulations, case studies, group work and individual practice of communication technologies. These will be offered in rotation.
Then there are sequences of periodic assessment, individual research, writing and presentation of their personal work.
There are 4 units or module in the theoretical training course (minimum 110 hours per module)

Module 3 – Management – Administration – Organization (Trainers: Team EJE)

Training will take place over 18 months as follows:
• 6 days of training for every centre, every 2 months (42 hours)
• 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month.
• In addition each centre will receive 2h30 per week. Each team will have separate training.
During the practical aspect of the training centre directors and activity centre workers will be evaluated on objectives set in advance with the teacher and the coordinator of the West Bank.
One of which is to measure their ability to acquire theoretical skills and then put them into practice.
The evaluation will also look to see that certain skills have been implemented, for example, a director has to have the ability to design an educational centre for entertainment in line with the project organization, to negotiate and implement it with the facilitation team, to manage his team, to regulate conflicts, train his team on a daily basis for organizing the work of his team, identifying and developing the skills of all players, organizing the activity centre in compliance with the agreement signed with EJE, monitor administrative, budgetary, communication with parents and other partners .
2 periods of 14 consecutive days will be evaluated during 2009.
There will be ongoing training, done on an alternate weekly basis by the leading pedagogical trainer and psychologist from the EJE team.
Each session will last 3 hours.
